Interfuse Ltd is a full member of the Concrete Block Association (CBA) an associate member of the Builders Merchant Federation (BMF) and an associate member of the British Precast Concrete Federation (BPCF).

As a signatory of the BPCF Sustainability Charter, Interfuse Ltd aims to go beyond legislation, and proactively strives to improve the sustainability of its operations and products. Interfuse annually submits performance data to British Precast for publication in their annual Sustainability Performance Indicator reports.

Haulage

The average Interfuse lorry carried 23 tonnes compared to the sector average of 18.32 tonnes concrete product per delivery (17.45 tonnes 2012). The average delivery distance for Interfuse was 44.6 km with a sector average of 102.2 km (148.1 km 2012). 100% of deliveries were made by Road.

RECYCLED AGGREGATES

Interfuse Ltd exceeded the Sector performance target of 25% of recycled aggregate during its production of blocks in 2018. Waste to landfill 0.01kg/tonnes of product sector target < 0.5kg/tonne.

Health & safety data is collected and reported through the Concrete Targets 2015 Scheme operated by the BPCF.
